Roxanne Schwartz makes textile art inspired by social justice and environmental issues as well as by travel, health, and family. Her intention is to inspire others to consider fresh approaches to these topics.  Roxanne’s work has been juried into numerous shows, including current and past exhibitions in Europe, Taiwan, and throughout the US. Her solo invitational show at 1947 Gallery in Berkeley featured fifteen works.  She has also worked as an activist, finance manager, community volunteer, copyeditor, and parent. Roxanne lives and works in Berkeley, California and earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
